KOSOLA AND ASSOCIATES, INC. is proud to offer this first-of-its-kind modification kit for the Piper model PA-25 series Pawnee.

Our modification involves the replacement of the original wing forward spar fuselage attach cluster with a newly - designed fuselage attach cluster and cross tube. This can be performed by KOSOLA or its approved installation centers, experts in TIG welding, or can be purchased in FAA PMA kit form for installation in the field or in your shop. Estimated installation time by qualified, experienced personnel in the field is approximately 35 hours from start to finish, after removal of the wings.

If you opt to purchase the kit, a rental fixture is available. When choosing KOSOLA'S shop to perform the modification, a neighboring facility has the capabilities of removing and re-attaching the wings to your fuselage once the modification is complete.

Alternate means of compliance to FAA AD 95-12-01

Compliance eliminates possible in-flight wing separation and costly, repetitive ultrasonic inspections required by AD 95-12-01

Available in FAA PMA kit form for in-field applications with or without fixture rental, or

Complete modification of fuselage available at Kosola's facilities or its approved installation center. Qualified neighboring facility available for fly-in and disassembly and re-assembly of the airplane at a competitive rate after modification (if performed at the Kosola facility).
